Involve Your Church
Bright Hope has a number of opportunities for involving your church community as you look to understand and address the needs of the extreme poor around the world. Whether it's raising money, learning more about extreme poverty, or engaging your congregation in a hands-on fashion to send relief supplies, Bright Hope can give you the ideas and tools you need.
HOPE PACKS - This project provides school supplies, toiletries, toys and a Bible to orphans and street children. Each year our Hope Packs target a specific country and type of needy child. Great project for Sunday School or the entire church. Download Hope Pack Instruction Sheet
DONATION DRIVE - Your church can hold a donation drive to benefit our partners overseas. We collect specific items that have been requested by our church and ministry partners.
ADOPT A CHURCH – Bright Hope helps facilitate church-to-church relationships in poor communities.
COFFEES / SPEAKER - Are you willing to host a meeting at your church? Bright Hope will provide a speaker to share personal experiences of ministering to the poor. Gatherings of small groups, Bible studies, and friends enjoy a time of education, sharing, and practical next steps in responding to the needs of the Absolute Poor. Speakers/Preachers are also available for Sunday morning services. Great for fill in weekend.
OFFERINGS FOR THE POOR - Bright Hope has urgent needs that require immediate funding. Special offerings at Thanksgiving, Christmas or Easter and during Disaster Crisis can be used for specific projects. See our “Urgent Needs” section on our website or contact Bright Hope for more ways to make an impact.
ONGOING MISSION SUPPORT – Support projects all year long by including Bright Hope in your Mission’s budget. Let Bright Hope become your personal missionary to the poor and help people in more than 30 countries.
