Welcome to Bright Hope's newest initiative: Hope4Haiti!
Through this campaign we are working on a holistic program (physical, spiritual, economic) seeking to transform the lives of children and families living in extreme poverty through Bright Hope’s Partner: Pignon Ministries in Haiti. Through 3 simple phases we are building up the children in the community and empowering parents to support their family. But we can’t do it alone.
1. PACK FOOD (Physical)
We started with kids. About 2,550 of them to be exact. Our goal was for every one to eat 1 warm meal every school day. By adding a simple plate of rice their focus can be on gaining education for a successful future versus a growling tummy.
NEED: FULFILLED!

2. SUPPLIES (Spiritual)
Phase Two is underway with giving Haiti supplies! Now that we have fed the children and have their focus we are prepared to give them the resources to truly excel. The Bible provides spiritual hope and healing for those wounded by extreme poverty.
We are providing Bibles and adding much needed school supplies in the form of a Hope Pack for every child and every family in the church/school communities. Purchase a Hope Pack for $30 today by clicking on the Donate Button.

3. JOBS (Economic)
The last portion of this campaign will take the focus from the children to their families. Through our microloan program lives are being transformed for as little as $30/family.
This phase is designed to empower families to create income for themselves by receiving skills training and access to a micro-credit that will make this program self-sustaining within 3 to 5 years!
NEED: $50,000 towards Micro-Loans by April 2010
Bright Hope’s mission is to bring Hope to those earning less than $1.00 a day. Hope4Haiti is a holistic program spanning over 3 to 5 years to completely transform 17 communities.
