My name is Arepalli Anjali Devi and my life is being impacted by Emmanuel Ministries. After my husband died in 2006, I moved in with my mother and brother. They are also very poor. I heard about the help provided by Emanuel Handicrafts and approached them for help.
I regularly receive rice and other daily necessities along with my medication for HIV. I have a son who is studying in 4th class with the help through Bright Hope. He is very good child and doing well in studies. Thank you all for this big help to us. We will pray for you and the Bright Hope people and god will bless more to all of you.

James Das, Partnership Developer in India, talked on the phone with Savitri and her two daughters, Charvi and Vibha about the help they've received from Emmanual Ministries. They receive food and funding so that the girls can go to school.
What made you to think that the God of the Christians is true God and can be trusted?
"When I see Surya and Satya (leaders of Emmanual Ministries) and the Pastor I feel God's love and care for me and my children. When they pray for us, God takes care of us, gives us food, medicine and good health; and we are very happy. Then one day they told me that I need to believe in this true God who will save me from death and give me eternal life; even though I will die early because of my disease. I then decided to believe in this God and prayed to him along with the Pastor to make me His daughter". My daughter, Suma also believes in this God – Jesus Christ. I thank Him; and thank the pastor, Prakash Sir and Satya Madam."
Do you think, the little money given by them and that comes from Bright Hope is helpful for you?
"Yes Sir, it is a big help to us; especially for my two girls. I want them to study in college and become a teacher and another one as a nurse so that they can take care of many children and sick people like me in our village. Thank you Sir for talking with me from Delhi. I am very lucky to hear your voice, and believe, you are also a good man who loves people like me and the sick people and the poor people. I will pray for you, Sir and also for Bright Hope".

Gubbala Kumari lost her husband to AIDS and was ex-communicated from her village after he died. The family lost all their belongings and they have gone to live with her mother. Gubbala has HIV too, but with the help of Emanuel Handicrafts is receiving ARVs regularly.
She has 2 children namely Sujatha and Moses. These two children are supported by Emanuel Ministries so that they can get regular medical care, clothing and tuition so that they can go to school. The family also receives food help every month because Gubbala can't earn enough to provide for her family herself.
Despite the obstacles, the children have a bright future because of the help of Emmanuel Ministries. They do not have HIV and are going to school regularly. The love they were shown from Emmanuel Ministries has led them to accept Lord Jesus Christ as their Savior and they now attend the local village Church. The children keep saying to the mother that God loves them and that He will heal their mother from her illness soon.
