Chocolate Production Gaining Momentum

El Alto, Bolivia — The chocolate production has become the strong arm of Bethesda in the last year, generating earnings around $455. These profits went directly to improve the facility's workspace, equipment, and access to water.

While this happened, Nadid, leader of the program, learned about chocolate production from a visiting group from the States. Nadid was challenged to research two criteria which will greatly improve the quality of their chocolate: the temperature of production and the expiration date. Nadid believes chocolate production will be even greater in the coming year thanks to the trainings he and his team received.
