Microloan Recipient Now Able to Care for Family

Samfya, Zambia — In 2009, Georgina was divorced and struggling to support her six children. Last year, she was chosen to receive a microloan from her local church. With the microloan and support from her loan group, she began to farm. This year, she’s expecting a bumper crop of cassava and groundnuts and has decided to remove herself from the program, stating that she is now able to care for her family.

Thank you for your support of Bright Hope's microloan programs and for allowing the extreme poor to become self-sustainable!
