Ongoing Programs Training Providing Brighter Futures

Uttar Pradesh, India — A candle-making and food preservation training was held through Christian Fellowship to provide skills to 26 students. Additionally, there were 32 women, mostly from impoverished areas, who completed a sewing training class.

This training included instruction on how to be more self-sufficient and add income to their families as well as daily scripture reading. Regional Bible trainings also took place, where each of the seventeen districts in Uttar Pradesh trained 1,167 students. Active church members were also given the opportunity to attend a course in “Expository Preaching,” where 53 men and women participated. Seven students also completed the one year Ashram Bible course, which provides discipleship in character, witnessing, and living a Christian life. Each of these trainings are providing Hope and support for a better future.
