She lost two meals a day when schools shut down for COVID-19.

But you can give them back to her.

In the slum schools of Kenya, children depend on the two meals a day they receive at our partner schools.

In communities like this, where people live on less than $1.90 a day, parents relied on this help in feeding their children long before the coronavirus entered the picture.

Now, with lockdowns that have completely cut off or drastically curtailed parents’ ability to earn money, parents have the increased burden of trying to feed their kids two more meals a day at a time when most of them are earning less income than ever.

It’s tragic that little ones are suffering like this. We’re giving monthly food bundles to students’ families to help them fight off starvation.

As a faithful Bright Hope Ally, will you give one too?

“I was the one in charge of distributing food to the parents. We packed enough food for them—rice, maize, beans—which is enough to take them for almost three weeks. The parents are so happy, they all wished you well.”
