Children Praise School Feeding Program

Pignon, Haiti — Colladere is one of the locations in which Bright Hope runs a school feeding program. Marc-Rose Bolivar is a student at the Colladere School, and she recently told us about her experience with the feeding program.

Marc-Rose is 12-years-old and in third grade. Her favorite subject is History and she dreams to be a doctor when she grows up. When asked about the school feeding program she said, “I like the feeding program because it is good for us and encourages us to study well. It also encourages the other kids in the area to come to our school.”

Jean Conide is also 12-years-old and a second grade student at the Colladere School. Jean wants to be a nurse when she grows up and loves studying math. She says that “the feeding program keeps me in good shape and helps me learn better in school.” Both Marc-Rose and Jean are grateful to have the feeding program integrated into their education.
