A Note from C.H. Dyer
Most Christians love the story of Jesus' birth because it is so relatable, physical and a dramatic moment in life - being born.
While on Earth, He performed miracles and met the needs of people in a way that was relatable and tangible. There was a physical
aspect to Jesus' life and ministry and so should our giving to the poor be physical, or as I like to say - concrete. When we
are confronted with the needs of brothers and sisters in Christ and the extreme poor, we are called to respond and meet the
need as Jesus did.
As we enter the most generous of all seasons, you have the opportunity to meet needs that are both tangible and physical. Through
this Seasons of Hope catalog you are exemplifying Christ's life and ministry by caring for those in great need. Thank you for
your generosity in loving the poorest people on the planet.
Happy Thanksgiving and Merry Christmas,
