Help Start a Business
Lack of education, scarce job opportunities and inadequate training make it difficult for those living in extreme poverty to improve their quality of life. Micro-loans, micro-savings programs and agricultural training bring value to local economies and communities by creating small business opportunities and a way for people to improve their income and standard of living.
Raising a person’s income from less than $2 a day to over $4 a day allows a parent to care for most of their family’s physical needs. Through micro-loans, micro-savings programs and agricultural training, we are seeing lives changed as families move out of substandard housing into healthier situations, go from being hungry to fed, and children start to attend school regularly.Read Ssane's Story
